First time going here. I ordered spicy chicken and pork with stir fried vegetables. Everything was very good and fresh. They made their own teriyaki sauce which was delicious. Decent sized portion. Definitely coming back.

We order from Midori at least once per week, their food is tasty and the staff is so friendly!

We moved to Lake Stevens a year ago and recently discovered this teriyaki joint. We were surprised at all the excellent reviews and gave it a try. We've gone twice so far. First visit we ate the spicy teriyaki meal. The second visit I tried the combo of chicken Katsu and General Tsao Chicken. Pros: OMG my combo was amazing and flavorful. The chicken Katsu was nice and crispy and I do like white chicken. The general Tsao sauce was bursting with flavor. I ate my whole meal and one sitting. They do take decent time prepping meals which means they cook fresh and want to put out quality food! Cons: My husband and I have one construction criticism: there needs to be more spice sauce on the spicy chicken. We've ordered the spicy chicken twice now and both times were dry on the sauce. The soy sauce that they include helps. We'll be coming back!!! The general Tsao is just amazing! And this is coming from a Korean

Service, food, ambiance of restaurant was very nice. I called an order in for pickup. Ordered spicy teriyaki and vegetable fried rice. She asked for me to pay cash and I did to help them with business. They have been located here in Lake Stevens for 20+ years. My first time trying and they didn't disappoint. I've had a lot of teriyaki in my life and when I showed up to pick up she opened the boxes and showed me and offered to put sauce on my white rice served with the spicy teriyaki and I said yes and so glad I did. Sauce homemade from here was delicious. Everything was spot on, hot and taste was delicious. Try them! Huge dining room with lots of extras like tea and water and very friendly staff.

Love the food I've been coming here since 2008 atleast. Quick friendly service with the little hometown feel on the inside! Always find myself craving their food! And shoutout for always being a sponsor for the local disc golf tournaments Go to order beef and pork yaki combo spicy with fried rice and order of gyoza can't go wrong love everything I've had though. 100% get fried rice with your order. There's so much good teriyaki in the PNW! This is yet another great place for some chicken teriyaki. The weekday lunch special is a very good deal. The chicken was so tender and juicy! The teriyaki sauce was very flavorful. It only took a few minutes to receive my food. The cashier was very friendly. I can't wait to come here again!

Best teriyaki hands down. Been going here since I was in middle school. So about 22 years now I guess. Haven't tried the sushi but probably won't because I go somewhere else for great sushi. When I crave teriyaki though....I will always go here rather then any other place. I have tried many too because I'm obsessed with teriyaki. The only other place that I will go and is somewhat close to the quality and taste is Oishi in Everett. If I stay in lake Stevens though.....I don't care for the teriyaki diner by jack in box. Yumiko is usually to burned for me and isn't as tasty for some reason. Japan teriyaki on the south side of the lake is okay but not worth it in my opinion.
